How are you adjusting your services for safety and sanitation during the Covid-19 pandemic?
The following safety precautions are being taken to protect the health and wellbeing of you and your guests:
I have taken the time to refresh and educate myself on new guidelines and protocols for safety and cleanliness in reference to Covid-19, and have earned certification from both Barbicide and Milady.
While on location, I will be wearing a mask at all times to protect myself and clients who will not be able to wear protection during service. I will be using a disposable mask that will be switched out when a new client is being worked on.
During any “touch up” times, I will be using separate brushes on all clients, along with product and sponges that will all be stored separately, never to cross contaminate with any other clients brushes or products. I will also be wearing a mask during this time.
In between clients, I will be not only washing my hands with soap and hot water, but will also be using hand sanitizer.
Between each client I will be taking time to wipe down and sanitize any touched products or surfaces with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol.
I will be using a new, pre-cleaned set of brushes on each client along with new sponges, mascara wands and lip brushes.
I have incorporated a UV-C Sterilizer Wand into my kit and will be using it in between clients to kill up to 99% of bacteria on product and surfaces.
I have invested in switching my kit to a de-potted, separated bag system which helps to keep products safe, zipped up and put away while not in use.
Any surfaces that my products/kit will be touching (tables) will be pre-covered with a disposable cloth to help prevent any cross contamination.
As always, I never use products such as mascara, lipstick or eyeliner directly on a client's skin. I will scrape product onto a palette to be used with a separate clean brush or wand. This way, there will be no cross contamination between products and talent.
Latex free gloves will be used and worn during any sanitization to ensure that products and surfaces are properly cleaned and ready for the next client
Also, due to the unique nature of the Covid-19 disease, a separate room will be required away from any large groups of people to perform services. There must be ample space for social distancing during services (set ups must be spaced 6ft apart). A table must be provided per artist for set-up with at least a 4ft x 3ft workspace. A sink with running water must be provided in order to wash hands and create a sanitary working environment. Only the client/s receiving services at their scheduled time and Artist/s performing services will be allowed in this room at a time. No other guests will be allowed in the room during services.
How are you handling the possibility of changing dates, cancelations, and reschedules due to Covid-19?
If for any reason you need to cancel your agreement more than 30 days before the event date, the non-refundable deposit will be kept, but any additional money previously paid will be returned. If you cancel services on the day-of your wedding, or within the 30 days before, all fees are due in full and any money previously paid will be kept. In the event services must be rescheduled, your 50% deposit will transfer to your new date as a credit, which must be booked under a new contract and will be subject to our current pricing at that new time. Your non-refundable deposit and all other fees paid will become a credit to be used towards your new date, and must be used within 12 months of the original booking.

Your work is exactly my style! When should I book my wedding day?
After you set your wedding date, we suggest that you book your makeup artist immediately. Our clients usually book us 6 to 9 months in advance after they confirm the wedding date. A deposit is required to secure our service(s) for your wedding date.
What is a Bridal Trial and why is it required?
A bridal trial is required to ensure that we achieve the perfect look for your wedding day! We will spend 2 hours with you to design the look that fits your personality and will best match the style of your wedding.
It is always recommended to book your wedding day before having your trial to ensure availability. It is also better to have the trial done in advance just in case you decide to make any adjustments to your makeup choices.
What do I need to prepare for my Bridal Trial?
We ask that you bring as much information as you prefer. You may bring images of inspired makeup looks, wedding dress, wedding accessories, and/or your wedding theme, color, and style. Anything you share with us will help us find the perfect look for you! Please also inform our artists of any skin/ allergy condition(s) prior to application.
What can I expect from the Bridal Trial if I rarely wear makeup?
We want to enhance our bride’s natural beauty during the trial session. We would first start off with a natural makeup look and bump it up from there if there are any adjustments that you would like to make.
Is there a trial available for my bridal parties or guests?
Yes! Brides, bridesmaids, and moms are more than welcome to come in for a trial.
Do you provide airbrush makeup?
We do offer airbrush application and it can be added to any makeup service as an upgrade.
What brand of makeup products do you use?
All of the products we use are of the best quality! We mix and match the most suitable products from various brands.
Please inform our artists of any skin/ allergy condition(s) prior to application.
Do I need to wear heavy makeup for photos?
There seems to be a misunderstanding of wearing “heavy” makeup for photos. Candace specializes in creating makeup that looks great in person and on camera in both natural and artificial lighting.
What is the wedding day timeline?
The bride will usually require around 1.5hrs for makeup and each bridal party member will require 1hr.
A friendly reminder to all the brides: most delays are caused by the person not being present in the room for their scheduled time slot. To keep things running smoothly, we ask that you have everyone ready when the artist arrives.
Should I request a touchup service for my wedding?
The touchup service is available upon request. The bride will usually request a touchup service if they have more than one gown and want to showcase more than one look for their wedding. We will gladly stay for touch-ups after all services are complete and require a 2-hour minimum.
My fiancé might want a face touchup. Do you offer any services for the groom?
Yes, we do offer a camera-ready application for grooms. This will help to minimize skin tone issues, redness, and shine.
Do you offer any other services besides weddings?
Yes! We would love to be a part of your engagement, boudoir photo sessions, and bridal shower. We can also help get you ready for your rehearsal dinner!
What form of payments do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards through Square or Paypal.
What is your wedding cancelation policy?
The final balance will be due, in full 30 days prior to the completion of services/events.
Cancelations and refunds requested prior to 4 weeks of the event: a maximum of 50% of the final total is refundable. All cancelations and refund requests must be made in writing.
No refund will be made less than 4 weeks prior to the event and/or after services are completed.
What is the cancellation policy for trial, special occasion, engagement session/ boudoir sessions?
The full-service rate will be charged if you cancel your appointment within the 24 hours of the appointment time or if you are a “no show.”
