First Aid Beauty | Why I Love It!

One morning in March 2017 I woke up and it felt like my face was on fire. It was raw and itchy and had little red bumps all over it. I had no idea what happened. It was like there wasn't enough moisturizer in the world to sooth my skin. As the day progressed it got worse. I could not stop itching. This continued on for about a week. I spoke with a friend who knows a lot about skin and she asked me what my daily routine was. Honestly its pretty basic, wash and moisturize, plus exfoliating 2-3 times a week and a mask once a week. What I didn't realize, was the products I was using every day to clean my skin were actually stripping my skin of all its natural oils. I was shocked! This product, recommended by a dermatologist, had been my go to for almost 3 years. What my friend explained was that my skin had gotten to a point of no return, and started to flare up with an eczema like rash.

(This is a picture from March of 2017 when the skin irritation began)

So what was her solution? First Aid Beauty. I ran to my local Sephora and purchased the Pure Skin Face Cleanser and Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer. I got home and couldn't open the bottles fast enough. The moment I dried my face after washing off the cleanser and applied the moisturizer I felt like a new woman! My skin felt soothed and the redness had already started to go down. Honestly it was that fast. I was hooked!

(This is a photo from today, 3 month later! I am not wearing any foundation or concealer.)

It has now been 3 months and my skin looks better then ever! I also went and got the Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask for weekly use. My favorite part of using this line is that all of our products are free of: Artificial Colorants and Artificial Fragrances, Parabens, Alcohol, Lanolin, Propylene Glycol, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum and Sulfates. I am very sensitive to fragrance and there is no irritating smell. Also a little goes a long way! Just a pea size will get the job done, which means you are not wasting product thus spending more money.

I encourage anyone that feels like their skin needs a reboot to try First Aid Beauty. It has changed my skin and I am now a dedicated beleiver that my skin can be fabulous!
