As a professional Actor, are you finding yourself doing more on camera auditions from home? Maybe you are taking meetings or doing auditions through zoom. Are you ever asked to come "camera ready" for filming? Or maybe you aren't sure the proper way to create a natural makeup look for in-person auditions. Are you ever asked to come as a specific character and you feel like just a slight makeup change could make all the difference?

As a former Casting Director who worked at Central Casting for 6 years, I worked on shows such as "The Office" "Parks and Rec" "Big Bang Theory" "Scandal" "CSI NY" "Two and a Half Men" plus many many more! I understand the need to look good during auditions and on camera. Now that I am a professional Makeup Artist, I have helped countless Actors create their look for auditions, headshots, and on camera. During Audition Ready Makeup, you will learn how to create a look the best fits your features and unique needs for on camera and in person work/auditions.

THE EXPERIENCE

During Audition Ready Makeup we will:

WOMEN:

A customized class to teach you how to use your beauty products for photos or video. We customize this class around your needs.
Teach you how to apply the right skin care before applying makeup so your makeup application is easier, your skin looks smooth, and perfect for the camera.

Teach you how to apply foundation for photos/camera. You need enough for the camera but not so much that you don't look like yourself.
Teach you how to apply enough blush so it will show up in photos/on camera.
Teach you how to apply concealer and learn how to reapply concealer when you have a busy day and you only have 5 minutes to touch up on set.
Teach you how to apply lipstick and lip liner using the correct professional techniques and so your lips look good but not like you're trying too hard.
We will help you customize and apply your entire eye look and, if desired, help you do false lashes.
I will also teach you my professional long-wear makeup techniques for a long shoot day. I will also teach you how to keep the shine down under those bright lights.
